In 2021, we bought a 1978 fixer-upper in Minnesota with zero renovation experience—just a shared vision, a lot of YouTube tutorials, and the hope that we could turn a neglected house into a home. What started as a personal project (and a way to keep our friends and family updated on our chaos) slowly turned into something bigger. We began documenting the process—every win, every setback, and every awkward learning curve—just for fun.
Over time, more people started following along, drawn to the honest, messy, and often hilarious reality of two beginners figuring it out as we go. Three years later, we’ve built a community that’s cheered us on, shared their own tips and stories, and made this journey so much more than just a renovation—it’s become a shared experience, and we’re so glad you’re here.
